FAQ’s
Q: What is the membership?
A: It’s a monthly massage membership that includes one massage per month at a discounted rate. If you want to come in more than once a month, you’ll just need to pay your membership price again. Unused sessions roll over to the next month so you never lose what you paid for, and you can add an associate member to your account to receive your discount and purchase gift cards at the member rate.
Q: What is the lymphatic system?
A: The lymphatic system is a complex network of vessels, organs, and tissues that plays a crucial role in maintaining fluid retention, immune function, and fat absorption. Imagine it as the body's drainage system. Blood vessels deliver nutrients and oxygen to tissues, but some fluid leaks out. The lymphatic system collects this excess fluid, now called lymph, and returns it to the bloodstream. As lymph passes through lymph nodes, it filters out any waste. This is critical for our overall health, as this filtration is necessary for the body's function and our well-being.
Q: What are the benefits of manual lymphatic drainage?
A: It is very effective in reducing fluid buildup in the body and stimulating the lymph flow, which in turn helps with our immune system.
Q: Who should get MDL?
A: Anyone recovering from surgery, with approval from your doctor; those with autoimmune disorders, excess swelling, and lymphedema patients (level 0-2).
Q: What aromatherapy do you offer, and what are they good for?
A: Deep Breath: Peppermint Eucalyptus blend; it helps with any congestion you may have.
Citrus Cream: Orange Grapefruit Blend; it is uplifting and energizing.

Q: Will I be sore after a massage?
A: It is possible to be sore after a massage, depending on what was worked on and how much pressure was applied. Any pain or discomfort will subside within a day or two; it's best to drink plenty of water and take an Epsom salt bath.
Q: What should I be doing to prolong the effects of my massage?
A: The best way to extend the benefits of your massage is to stretch daily, drink plenty of water, and not wait longer than a month in between massage appointments.
Q: Do I have to completely undress?
A: No, you can undress to whatever your comfort level is. The only part of the body that is uncovered is the part I'm currently working oon;then it is recovered, and I move on. You will never be exposed in any way.
Q: How much water should I be drinking in a day?
A: You should be drinking half your body weight in ounces of water every day in order to stay properly hydrated.
